Board

Our General Board is the governing body of our Church. The Board (Photo Page) convenes various times during the year to consider and act upon issues pertinent to the well-being of First Christian Church. The rules under which the Board functions are spelled out in the document titled "Articles of Incorporation of The First Christian Church of Harrison, Arkansas, Inc (Amended and Revised)" as well as the document titled "By Laws of The First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Harrison, Arkansas". BOARD TRUSTEES

The Trustees shall act as legal agents of the Church in all business matters, under the direction of the

General Board and subject to the approval of the Church; legal title to all Church property shall be held in

the name of the Corporation, but the Trustees shall handle all legal transactions pertaining to the business

of the Church when called upon to do so. They shall have supervision over all endowment funds and Trust

Funds; and perform such other duties as are required by the Laws of the State of Arkansas.
