Our faith, like so much of that which we treasure today, has been passed down to us from prior generations. Whether our forefather's gifts were in the form of a Church building; an educational scholarship; or an inspiring witness…the abundant legacies left by past generations have aided each of us in our individual walk up the path of Spiritual Growth.
What a wonderful legacy those who came before have left us!
We, too, can leave a legacy for the generations that will follow. At First Christian Church, one way to leave such a legacy is to create a Permanent Endowment Fund that will pay out annual distributions, in perpetuity, to the ministries and various functions of our Church.
Much as we know that, as Christians, we are called to be faithful stewards during our life, God’s call regarding stewardship also extends beyond our own passing. Gifts, bequests, and planned gifts made to First Christian Church’s Permanent Endowment Fund are vehicles that permit us to live out our faithfulness, and then to serve as an inspiration to our children, grandchildren and others who seek to develop a closer relationship with Jesus Christ at our Church.
Our Permanent Endowment Fund was created to be exceedingly flexible in that you, as the donor, have numerous options as to your method of giving; how your gifted funds are to be invested; and how the annual payout is to be disbursed, in perpetuity, to your specified recipient(s).
To learn more about the many ways in which you can leave a legacy, or multiple legacies, via your Church's Permanent Endowment Fund, you can reference more detailed information at PEF Policy and PEF Forms. However, given the wide variety of options available to you, we heartily recommend that you arrange to discuss them with one, or more, of our PEF Trustees whose contact information can be received by calling the church office at 870-741-5757.
