Dr. David Artman is our Senior Minister. He holds a Master of Divnity and a Doctor of Ministry from Texas Christian University. Dr. Artman was ordained into the ministry in 1987, and has served Congregations in Texas, Arkansas, and Illinois. Cindy Adler is our Christian Education and Yourth Director. A graduate of Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a minor in Criminal Justice, Cindy has an impressive volunteer ministry record. She first attended North Arkansas College and volunteered at K-Life in Harrison. At Arkansas Tech she volunteered with the Wesley Foundation as a Freshman Outreach Group leader, in Bible studies, and mission trips. Contact Cindy at caadler_34@yahoo.com
Laura West is our part time Children's Ministries Director. She will be working with Cindy Adler and the Christian Education Committee in planning and preparing programs and activities for our children in Kindergarten through 4th Grade. Laura is currently attending Phillips Theological Seminary pursuing a Master of Divinity degree. She will bring many creative ideas and programs to our children that will start them on a a path to Spiritual Growth and a life-long relationship with God. Karon Pierce, bless her heart, keeps this Church running! As our Church Administrator she answers the phone and greets visitors; creates "The Harrison Christian", our newsletter; ditto for our Sunday Bulletins and Monthly Calendars; maintains our Church databases; schedules the use of our facilities; assists our Treasurer and Financial Secretary; and supervises our custodial and maintenance personnel. Leon Young has been a member of FCC for 51 years, and our Treasurer for 43 of them. His duties include the disbursement of Church funds; providing written reports on said funds to our Cabinet, General Board and Congregation; staff payroll, quarterly payroll taxes and the reconciliation of bank statements; and popping some of the best popcorn you'll ever taste!.
Mary Pledger, our Financial Secretary, prepares and maintains a record of receipts; prepares and makes bank deposits; keeps a record of individual giving, and provides total individual giving for the year to individuals requesting one; acknowledges memorial gifts and provides families with names of those making a memorial gift; provides a monthly financial report to the Cabinet and Church Board, and attends Cabinet and Church Board meetings.
