map SITE MAP

Our Web Site is logically divided into nine (9) distinct areas, as listed and described below. Clicking on the title of any area (in the top Navigation Bar on every page) will transport you to the “parent” page for that area. There you will find further links to the “child” pages therein. Our standard Navigation Bar appears at the top of all pages. It is always there, ready to take you back Home or to one of the other major areas of our Web Site. No matter what page you may be on, there will always be, in the top-of-page Navigation Bar) arrows pointing to the name of the major area of the Web Site that you are currently exploring. Clicking on that area will immediately take you back to the "parent" page for that area.

If you have any questions, concerns or constructive suggestions as to how we might improve this page, or any other page on our Web Site, please let us know by e-mailing us at Church Web Master (fccharrison@windstream.net)

Home – The “front door” to First Christian Church’s wide and deep “home” on the World Wide Web contains a brief welcome to our site and a host of links to the key “rooms”/areas of our “home”.

the9ways – Our Pastor, Dr. David Artman, was inspired to create this Spiritual Growth tool and it was subsequently adopted, by the General Board of our Church, as First Christian Church’s primary tool to emphasize and utilize in our Congregation’s Spiritual Growth program. Here you will find a page dedicated to each of the9ways (“Prayer”, “Study”, “Worship”, “Fellowship”, “Service”, “Giving”, “Sharing Your Faith”, “Showing Compassion” and “Spiritual Honesty”). Three other pages titled “The Call to Nature”, “The Cost of Immaturity” and “the9ways Challenge” round out “Dr. D’s” program.

Small Groups – At last count, no less that twenty-one (21) small groups were functioning as vibrant parts of our Church’s framework. These groups range from Sunday School Classes, to Bible Studies, Disciples Women and Men and Lunch Bunch Etc (a Seniors activities group). Each group has their own Web Page from where they are able to “toot their own horn” to reveal who they are as a group, where they have come from, what they stand for today and what the future may hold.

Worship – First Christian Church offers three (3) distinct worship services to address the needs and preferences of our Congregation, as well as others seeking Spiritual Growth in a relaxed, supportive environment. Each of the services (Traditional, Contemporary and Fellowship) has a Web Page devoted to explaining the unique aspects of that service.

There are two calendars, one for those already familiar with our various events and one for new folks still learning about what goes on here.Speaking of new folks, there is a New Members page with photos and bios. If you’re seeking information on “what’s new?” on our Web Site you should refer to “Web Site News”. There is also a “Testimonial” page containing member’s stories concerning their own successful steps up the path to Spiritual Growth. Finally there is a link to our weekly Newsletter.

Ministries – Pages in this area explain and chronicle a wide variety of manners in which our members serve their Church, as well as those in need of spiritual and/or material assistance in our Church family, our community, our denomination and in the whole wide world.
