Our class is made up of people of various ages who enjoy interactive discussions. Currently led by Candi Martin, the group seeks ways in which the lessons from the David Cook curriculum can be applied to everyday life and lead us each to a more mature relationship with God and one another. The class is fortified by the experiences and wisdom of its members via their individual faith journeys. Our goal is to continually grow spiritually, as individuals and as a group.
Cornerstone Believers currently aids Christview Ministries, of Eureka Springs, with a monthly gift. Christview Ministries helps to develop new Church leaders. Additional groups the class supports, through gifts and/or service, include Hospice House, Ozarks Humane Society, Sanctuary, Children’s Shelter and others. This class has also accomplished some special work projects such as helping to finish the construction of Christview Ministries, helping to dry-wall, build a drainage system, enclose a garage door opening and paint the Chapel of Shepherd’s Inn Retreat Center in Eureka Springs, and helping with the creation/remodeling efforts on "The Crossing", our children’s area and the Contemporary Worship area of our own Church.
Our class also enjoys coming together occasionally for food and fellowship or to go on outings. We have attended Springfield Cardinals baseball games, Branson shows, movies, and other fun events as a group.
This class has wide open arms and welcomes newcomers enthusiastically. We would be blessed to have you join us for a meaningful, loving and fun time together to study God’s word and discover His love, mercy and grace as we grow in Him.
“Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, ‘Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, A costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be disturbed’”. Isaiah 28:1
