The Journey Sunday School Class, a college and career ministry, welcomes you to a place where you can grow spiritually in a supportive, fun and challenging community. We meet Sundays starting at 10:00am to share in Spiritual Growth through study and prayer via Bible-based lessons and down-to-earth discussions of how our faith intersects with our lives.

The Journey group is also involved in many other aspects of life at First Christian Church. We understand that we grow spiritually through service to Jesus’ Church, and we take advantage of service opportunities whenever we are able. Many of the class members work with the youth groups, the children’s Sunday school and children’s choirs. We serve as Deacons, Worship Leaders, and members of various Committees of the Church.
Fellowship is also an important resource for growing up in Christ, and we have social events simply to have fun with Christian friends. Laser tag, miniature golf, game nights, and the annual Christmas party are a few ways we have gotten together and enjoyed being with one another in a fun atmosphere.
The Journey Class is an eclectic gathering of people who are on the road to spiritual maturity. We are mostly young 20’s and college age students. One never knows who might be in class on Sunday or what might be happening next in everyone’s crazy and dynamic lives. That’s why we chose the name “Journey.” We’re on the way, together; to growing up in Jesus. We hope you’ll come along with us.
