INTRODUCTION the9ways is the spiritual formation path taught by our pastor, Dr. David B. Artman. Spiritual growth is the focus of First Christian Church, and the9ways serves as the path of spiritual growth and formation for our members. |

Fellowship is an important part of the Christian life. We are not to seek to be Christians by ourselves. We belong in the community of the Church. In the fellowship of the Church we are built up, and we have the chance to build up others. |

The road to Christian maturity involves more than a casual encounter with scripture. For us to be transformed by God's word we need to experience it regularly and take the time to understand it more deeply. |

As Christians we are to "consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds." (Hebrews 10:24) In other words, we are to challenge each other to grow and mature in our faith. |
