Our Contemporary service begins at 11am in our Contemporary Sanctuary which is located adjacent to the Fellowship Hall. Each service takes place in a casual, yet exuberant atmosphere - taking full advantage of the praise and worship music that has become so popular in recent years. The music is lead by our Praise Team, who are accompanied by standing, hand-clapping worshippers, and all are backed by live music from our Praise Team Band. Three overhead projection screens are used to provide multi-media messages prior to the service and then to display the words of songs as well as meaningful images at appropriate times during the service. Bring your Bible, as the more-Contemporary sermons are based on passages of scripture; worshippers are encouraged to follow along in their own Bibles; and you may wish to make notes in yours. If you forget your own Bible, there are plenty available in the racks beneath the individual, cushioned seats provided for worshippers in our Contemporary area.
